Monterey Pop Festival 50th Anniversary
Best Live Performances

We’ve cranked up the Voice of La Jolla “Way Back Machine” to return to 1967 to some of the best live performances at California's Monterey International Pop Festival.

An important stop in our Summer of Love journey, we started with a tribute to the 50th anniversary release of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart’s Club Band with rarely heard interviews and songs a few weeks ago. Now we stop at the Monterey Pop Festival where we'll plan our next visit to San Francisco’s Haight Ashbury - and the Haight Culture - in the summer of 67’ (coming soon).

Don't forget to wear some flowers in your hair.
