During her career Dr. von Ber combined her three passions; global leadership / intercultural understanding, business and psychiatry/psychology. She specializes in business mentoring and coaching for domestic & international Fortune 500 and C Level executives who work on multicultural projects, plan to expand into new countries and would like to maximize their leadership skills and international knowledge. She uses her knowledge of human behavior very effectively in the corporate world, helping executives develop and retain international employees, establishing international business relationships, enhancing global business skills and fostering intercultural understanding.
As CEO of The Ambassadorial Roundtable, Dr. von Ber hosts foreign Heads of State, dignitaries, ambassadors and key domestic politicians educating, inspiring and connecting Americans to global issues and international affairs. Dr. von Ber served as President of the San Diego World Affairs Council, the largest nonpartisan, nonprofit organization in the United States hosting foreign and domestic ambassadors monthly in San Diego, promoting intercultural understanding, business and education. She spearheaded the global education & cultural diplomacy program, offered multilingual training in conflict negotiation & resolution and lectured extensively on globalization & cyber-security. She successfully implemented multiple large-scale educational programs, evaluations of organizational & training projects, supervised product positioning ventures and engaged in global partnership development aiding private and public sector corporations with strategic planning and development.
Dr. von Ber enjoyed a traditional European education, she attended amongst other Ivy League Universities, the Sorbonne University in Paris, Oxford University in England, McGill University in Montreal, United States International University, UCSD in San Diego and Harvard University in Cambridge. Dr. von Ber graduated with a PhD in clinical psychology, and a in business with emphasis in leadership and MA in psychology. Dr. von Ber has an international, multicultural background; she lived on 4 continents and speaks 7 languages.
As outstanding female executive, Dr. von Ber has been recognized for her achievements by numerous organizations and serves on numerous for profit and nonprofit boards. San Diego Metropolitan Magazine voted Dr. von Ber 2009 Metro Movers to Watch.
