Michelle has been the fearless leader of San Diego-based Natural High, a national nonprofit organization, since 2004. She is continuing the mission of Founder Jon Sundt who lost his two younger brothers to drugs, inspiring youth to pursue what they truly love to do - their natural high, so they have a reason to say NO to drugs and alcohol. With the support of more than 40 drug-free celebrity messengers, Natural High has become a national movement. Michelle and her team are reaching 18,000 educators and seven million youth across the US with a cutting edge prevention education program offered free of charge on an all-digital platform.
Prior to Natural High, Michelle was the Director of Family Services for Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville Beaches. She served on the Advisory Board for USD’s Institute for Nonprofit Education Research, and is an alumnus of Fieldstone Foundation’s Executive Coaching program. Michelle earned her M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the School of Education at the University of San Diego (USD) and her B.A. from Cornell University.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her dogs, Indy and Buckley, and volunteering as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters San Diego.

Michelle claims her natural highs come from viewing horror films, listening to live music and spending quiet time with a book. What about you? What’s yours?
