“Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Bikini”
July 25, 2016 ~ Click images for more...

Voice Of Peace / VOLJ Music Radio Worldwide Broadcast

70 years ago this month Western Civilization turned its startled, then staring eyes to the beach with the introduction of the shocking, culture assaulting, fashion busting bikini.

This week VOLJ is celebrating the year of its creation as we present a one-hour program of chartbusters (including jingles and great sound effects) from the Hit Parade of 1946.

If you’ve ever wondered what teenagers were listening to just before Rock n’ Roll kicked in, this is, without questions an enlightening trip down memory lane. And no, dude, there’s not one surfin’ song on the playlist! Aired August 27, 2015
